Overlooked Veterans to Receive Medal of Honor Decades Later

Overlooked Veterans to Receive Medal of Honor Decades Later

Today President Obama will bestow one of the country's highest honors, the Congressional Medal of Honor to 24 overlooked U.S. Army veterans. The "Valor 24" were denied during World War II, Korea, and Vietnam as a result of race or religion. 21 will be honored posthumously.
NBC News' Jim Miklaszewski will have more tonight, including interviews with today's recipients on "NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams." Check your local listings.
